Chateau Colbert
Not far from Cholet, Angers and Saumur in France's châteaux country, the Château Colbert has a fascinating history. In 1012 A.D. the land was purchased by the Count of Anjou and in 1668 it changed hands when Edouard-François Colbert, who was a popular visitor to the court of Louis XIV, purchased the property. It has only changed hands a few times since then.
